Pasting Into Pro Type Titler?

Is there a way to paste text into the Pro Type Titler? The normal keyboard paste operation (Ctrl-V) does not work.

you need an existing text event in PT. then you paste the text in to that.

Thanks. My bad, I was not in the Text Edit mode within PTT when I was trying to paste.
