Been a few of these groups in Portland, all deceased now. So trying to start one up for collaboration, monthly discussions, software use and help, motivation, and location shoots. Meetup

I'd be pleased to meet, but the drive would be a burden. Perhaps, you could meet me half way in Medford. It's nice there this time of year.

John - will all the hipster creatives in Portland you would think a DSLR/Mirrorless based group would have some traction, but I've seen at least 3 meetup groups slowly go away over the last 5 years or so. If I do a shoot near Meford or the lower coast I'll give you a shout. Very cinematic in that part of Oregon.
