Phantom Info at End Of Project Timeline

Hello again - been awhile - the subject says it all. Couldn't find a similar topic.

My project is 06:26;06. When I put the cursor at 00:00:00;00, and do CTL + Right Arrow, everything from 0 to 06:26;06 gets highlighted. When I put the cursor at 00:00:00;00, and do SHIFT + END, the highlighted area now extends to 00:07:59;29.
There's nothing visible that I can see on any of the tracks. I do have the Volume Envelope light-blue line on, and it extends to the right for infinity and beyond, but that's natural.

I've highlighted only from 6:26;06 to 7:59;29, and pressed delete, which should remove all of that portion. But doing SHIFT + END still goes to 7:59;29.

The problem this presents, is when the rendered video is played, it keeps playing past what should be the real end. This is a small bother when playing the finished product burned from DVD Arch. The video should go back to a menu screen, and does, but only after playing the full 7:59.

Any ideas ?

Thanks, Dave H.

Sounds like you've got something on another track past the end of what you want to render, even if it is not obvious.

The solution in this case is to use a Loop Region to identify your edited track(s), and render to that region.
