Photo Montage and VASST Ultimate S (still in biz?)

I have the task of making a photo montage for a friend of the family's funeral. I did it many years ago and those that saw it never forgot...so I have become THAT 'go to guy'. Sigh.

Years ago when I did it I used Ultimate S2 by VASST. Well, now I am in Vegas 12 and it don't work in this version of Vegas. I cant seem to get anyone at VASST on the phone or by email. Are they still in business?

If not is there an alternative to their product? I need to take 100+ pictures and quickly add them to my time line at the same length & create crossfades. I REALLY don't want to do this one at a time.

Thoughts on what my options are?

VASST is definitely still in business and they are actively developing Vegas extensions. Ultimate S is up to version 4, and still has their Photo Montage feature:

You can get them all on the timeline at the same length with as set crossfade length simply by setting the desired lengths in the preferences, selecting them all, and then dragging them to the timeline. Remember to drag the first file as the file you actually drag will be put on the timeline first. Then the rest will follow alphabetically.
