Photo sizes

Hi, I am only new with video editing. I am trying to compile a still image slide show, I have noted on a previous forum subject that you reccomend resizeing the images.
I did not do this this the first time and I found that the images stoped in the middle of some of the transitions and also the back ground music I added stopped intermitently as well. This however only happened when the DVD was playing on the TV. It did not hapen when I played it back in Movie Studio. Is ther a quick way in Movie Studio to resize the images or should I go back to another program ie Photo Shop to resize them. Is 655 x 480 sufficient.

If the DVD playback was having problems it had nothing to do with the size of the photos. There must be some other problem causing that. What size were the photos that you used in that project? If Vegas Studio could play them fine on the timeline then they most likely weren't too large.
