Photo Slide Show

Is there a way to automatically have a photo have that slight moving effect without going into keyframes for every picture?

also, is there a way to place down a series of pictures and have transitions in between without moving each one individually? The transitions can be a simple crossfade. They don't have to be random.

1: not for every single picture automatically - but you may use track motion.

2: Options - preferences - editing, check Automatically overlap multiple and set amount and alignment.
Then make sure that Automatic crossfades (either icon above the timelines or ctrl+shift+x) is selected and then copy and paste the wanted pics into the timeline.

This is, however, a rather rough way to throw some pics into a video.

I use stills a lot, but as the stills have a high resoloution they really invite to keyframe around in them individually.
Also the stills probably need some afterprocessing i.e. colorcurves...
And you may achieve surprisingly good effects by making the stills transition into each other following the beat of the music...

Using a couple of editing hours per minute finished video in this way you may get great results -

Have fun.

Yes, If I understand you.

Once you have created a motion for one picture, just move the cursor to the little green box in the pic. that shows it has motion, right click and select copy, then highlight the rest of the pic by selecting the first and shift key the last. (or select events to end) Place the cursor over the last pic etc and right click, select paste events. Thats it. Now the rest of the pictures have the same effect. I beleive this works for transistions also. Good luck.
