Picture in a picture

Is there a way to use VV3 to put thumbnails on a background clip?? or acpicture within a picture (almost the same thing). Nothing fancy, just stationary thumbnails, although moving ones could be useful. I'm still inexperienced in anything other than basic stuff in VV3 (I had VF2).

track motion does the trick
with track motion you can MOVE the track and also do PIP
you have to put tracks on top of each other though
then use the keyframes
it's easy
you have to read the manual to fully grasp it
downlad a free pdf version

Download VV3 user manual. In that pdf file, they show exactly just how to do that. And yes, you can do animation with "picture in picture" too.

In fact, one of the Tutorials that SF supplies with the VV3 CD shows how to do it.

Thanks for the help, I figured out how to put the thumbnails on a background as a start. I'll keep going.
