Hey, how would one add a small resizable video playing overtop the black credit screens? does this require another video track? If so I'm not sure how to go about resizing and moving it into the corner as picture in picture credit rolls usually do it. Thanks,
Greg Knudson
Place the video you want overtop the credits on a track above the track with the credits. Use Track Motion (the icon in the track header that looks like two rectangles witn an arrow) to shrink and move the frame. You can watch the preview window as you make changes to size and position it exactly where you want it.
I tried this with some end credits to a dramatic film (DV) I'm working on. Took about 10 minutes to put it together--I have a 1/4 screen-size frame floating over black, with a progression of short motion clips of each actor in order of appearance, taken from his/her performance in the film, and the name credit ("John Smith as Professor Unger," etc.) underneath each successive frame as it fades in & out. A little Beethoven playing in the background. Looks great. I can't imagine how much time & money it took to create this effect at the end of Hollywood films in The Olden Days (pre-DV).
thank you very much, chien and vital. your movie sounds interesting by the way :) Are there sites where people post their low-budget(of course) movies created in vegas or premiere?
Greg, i run a site on my own web server that allows folks to upload their Vegas creations. Wander over to http://www.vegasusers.com. Folks can upload there for others to review and leave comments.
