Picture quality (another question)

Thans so much Eugenia for the save as info.

I do have Vegas 10 Platinum and I used the Mpeg 4 setting.
The file is way smaller than the AVI was but the AVI was very clear though it seemed to stutter in WMP.
(maybe I should have just tried a burn with that)
Still a fairly long render but it opened and burned well i DVD architect.
However the picture quality isn't very good on the HD TV.

I'm not all that adept at this but if anyone could provide a tip or point me to the right tutorial I'd greatly appreciate it.

If all you wanted from the start in the other thread was to burn a DVD, then neither the h.264 exporting guide, neither the AVI way was the right thing to do.

Instead, you go to Render As menu, and you export in mpeg2 for video (using the right template depending which TV you have and what country you're in) and AC3 for audio. Then DVD Architect will put these two files back together.
