PIP help please

Hi
Being new to VMS, I have been practising & because of your help I have been able to do a PIP event using track motion but the still pictures after the PIP have been reduced to the size of the small picture from the PIP event. These are all the pictures on Track 1 that have been reduced in size which I didn't want reduced.

Hope this makes sense & you can tell me what I've done wrong.

Thanks.

Track motion is applied to all events on that track. To only affect certain events on the track, event Pan & Crop is the route to go.

Since you already have your PIP done, you could render it to a file and bring it back into the project after removing Track Motion from that track. Replacing the PIP event(s), leaving the pictures alone after it.

If you were to go that route, be sure to first do a Save As to create a new project so you don't mess up what your working on now. I always save my projects with a number after it. Save often then do a Save As every once and a while with the next higher number. Sometimes I get as high as 15. This way, if something goes wrong, you can go back to a prior version of the project. Check points if you will.

Why not put your pip on track one and the stills on track two?
