Plat HD 11 Can't Change Font?

Am I missing something? When I add "Titles and Text" and just choose the plain static text, my font drop-down bar is greyed out. I can still drop it down and click on a particular font but the font will not change to what I chose...it stays the same default font.

How can I change my font?

I think you have to select some text first, then you can change the font. But I don't have VMS -- and haven't even installed Vegas Pro 11 yet -- so I have never had a chance to try out the Titles and Text feature.

P6 in the new "Titles and Text" Property box, you have to highlight the text first then choose you font, so it can be applied to your text.
