I’m going through the Sonic Foundry tutorials for Vegas Video 2.0, but using my current VV3 program. I’m having an intermittent problem getting my .avi files to play. Sometimes when I load them up they play perfectly. But other times I load them up, press the play button, and the cursor starts to flash and the picture flickers, but it doesn’t move. It just flickers until I press the Stop button.

I’ve had this happen several times and I’m never quite certain what I did to cause it…..or to fix it. It’s happening again now and I just can’t get anything to play. Any ideas?
