After developing background menu music on DVD Architect, the music stops during disc playback after a few notes, instead of playing on. It plays correctly on my computer.
Do you have it set to loop or just play once? The default is 30 seconds for length and then it stops.
Go to End Action and then Command > Loop. It will play the menu and then loop over and over from there.
Also, check the length of your menu timeline compared to the length in the picture @Jack S posted.

I finally gained success, but not to the degree I had hoped. I had to develop the menu by constructing a five-second musical interlude before the navigation tools appeared. I have not been able to start the music at the beginning of the menu and to get it to play the complete length of the song I am using - which is two minutes, forty seconds in length. I am probably missing some simple part of the instructions. Maybe that tells me something!!?!?
@william-p You've probably tried this but I'm going to suggest it anyway.
Have you imported your 2m 40s file into DVDAS using this option?
If you did, then did you make sure that the Menu Length is set to 'Auto calculate'?
I've done this and my music plays to the end. If you want the music to play again and keep playing until someone clicks a button you have to change the 'End Action/Command' from Hold to Loop.
This method works for me. It should work for you.
You are definitely my hero!!! It worked. It was the "Auto Calculate" that I was missing. I hope you're watching when I have my next problem!
