Playback Rate

I am trying to adjust the playback rate in a section of video. I right click on the video and click properties. I then change the playback rate box to 6.000. When I click out of the box, it reverts back to 4.000.

Is there a way to increase the playback rate above the 4.000?

4 is the max value. To go faster, you will need to render and then adjust the playback rate again. In Vegas Pro you can also use a velocity envelope which will go to 3x for a combined total of up to 12x.
