Playback too fast

I just installed Vegas on a new computer I built. I had been running it on Windows XP X64 just fine, but now when I preview my projects, they play back at what would appear to be double time. Here is my current setup:

Windows Vista Home Premium X64
AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400+
MSI K9A Platinum
Sapphire HD 2600XT
2X2 gigs A-Data 800

I tried adjusting the affinity in task manager down to one CPU core, but that didn't work. I had done that in a few other programs in XP X64 to get them to run at normal speed (Painkiller was one of them if I remember correctly). Anyway, no idea what to do now. Thanks,

Below the timeline, there's a Rate slider with a yellow triangle underneath it. Make sure the triangle is set for a playback rate of 1.

Thanks dcrandall, I started it up to check what you said and it actually started working fine by itself... kinda frustrating cuz I'd like to know what WAS wrong, on the other hand it's fixed! Thanks again,
