I just installed 6.0a...and everything seemed to be working fine. I then rendered out a project using the Sony YUV codec (stardard workflow for us since version 5.0)...but when I went to play the file back in Windows Media player, the video looked completely scrambled - like Windows Media didn't know what to do with the codec. Same experience pulling the file into AE6.5. HOWEVER, if I import that rendered file onto a Vegas 6.0 timeline the file plays fine. Again, it "feels" like there is something new about the codec that the other players don't know what to do with...have seen this now on two seperate systems.
Sony YUV codecs rendered and played just fine out of 5.0d...is there something I need to update?
