Playlists NOT playing alternate audio!! DVDA 6.0!

I am incredibly desperate here. Working hard on a Blu ray disc packed with a bunch of my videos, everything's been turning out great so far... have menus full of individual videos I've made, and a playlist to play them all. I made a secondary audio track too- my own commentary. However, when I add buttons to switch between audio tracks, it works fine in the software... but it doesn't work when I put the disc in an actual player! No matter what player I play the disc in, the button to switch audio tracks has NO effect on the playlist button. It just plays Audio track 1 every time. I had this problem in DVDA 5.2 as well. Weird to see it come back in 6.0. Has anyone else had this issue? I never had ANY problem doing this when I authored a DVD. Blu ray seems to be the issue here. Can anyone help?!

I am having this same issue and I wonder if you have found a solution.

Interesting side note: I recently purchased the Steven Wilson YES remasters of The Yes Album and Relayer. I am using PowerDVD 14 to view Blu Ray discs on my computer. With both of those discs, if you select the audio you want from the main menu, it doesn't work. However, after you start playing the actual music, there is a menu on the side where you can change the audio at any time and those menus do work.

On the other hand, I also have the Peter Gabriel LIVE IN ATHENS Blu Ray and the audio selection from the main menu works on that just fine; so I know it isn't the PowerDVD software that is the problem.

I tried creating side menus like the YES discs in DVD Architect, but they didn't work when burned to a Blu Ray either. I'm having the exact same problem as you. The audio selection works in DVD Architect's previewer but it doesn't work when you actually make the disc and play it.

Help!

Ok, so I found a work-around that seems to function properly.

You must point your buttons/links directly to your media file and not use a playlist. In other words, set the DESTINATION on your button directly to the media file you want to play. It seems the issue is with the playlists. If you try to use a playlist, it won't work.
