Please compare VP 11, 12, 13 GPU Rendering Speeds

This has been mentioned in various other threads, but I wanted to get it all together in on visible place.

Several people have seen slower GPU rendering in VP 13 compared to earlier versions. If you have an older version and a GPU, please post the times to render John Cline's test http://www.johncline.com/rendertest-2010.zip (this is a .veg file) on various versions.

When rendering, please:
Save as Type = "MainConcept MPEG-2"
Template = "HDV 1080-60i"
Select the "Custom" button and make sure "Video Quality" is set to "BEST."

Also please post what GPU you are using.

I'm using a NVidea 570 GTX Driver 334.89 (the newer driver crashes Vegas)

Vegas Pro 13 (64 bit): 50 seconds
Vegas Pro 11 (64 bit): 44 seconds

I've tried varying the Open CL Memory Size Filter and the OpenCL Vendor 1 New Driver settings with no effect at all.

To make this a more valid test, I opened and saved the rendertest-2010 file as VP version correct file first. I then reopened the file, selected all media on the timeline and used the script "Resize Generated Media", this will ensure that all generated media conform to the project settings. I have VP11-32bit and VP12&13 64bit on my system, 2xGTX580 driver 296.10 because this is still the best driver for Win7.

render times:
VP11(32bit) : 23sec.
VP12(64bit) : 25sec.
VP13(64bit) : 25sec.
