Please fix your software

This new bug that forces you to be offline to open Vegas is frankly unacceptable.
Vegas has a tendency to crash quite often. This is a well known fact and an issue that the software has had for a very long time. I am accustomed to spamming Ctrl + S so this despite being quite annoying, was not too much of an issue as one could just re-open the project they were working on and continue. Now every time Vegas crashes (which again, is quite often), I have to get under my desk, unplug my ethernet cable, open Vegas, wait for the project to open, get down under my desk again, plug in the ethernet cable and then finally start work just for the program to crash again 15 minutes later.

This is completely unacceptable. Can you please detail when a patch can be expected to remedy this issue? I'm way past expecting any sort of patch to fix the constant crashes as I do understand that it is very difficult considering the diverse range of hardware setups people have but please please please can you at the very least fix this new bug that forces me for some obscure reason to be be offline when opening Vegas.

I would tell Windows to block Vegas from connecting to the internet but then how would I know when there is a patch due without coming to your site on a daily basis?

Please resolve this issue asap.

Aside from the links that @set provided, you could work smarter, not harder.

@anthony-chappell Just to join in, there were many posts about this, this one from 8 days ago has 223 comments "VEGAS PRO OPENING PROBLEM" & a patch for the Vegas not opening problem was issued within 24hrs of the fault appearing, Vegas were really quick to respond,

& here's another solution instead of climbing under your desk. there were a few options mentioned in the comments,
