I am trying to place a song from a cd onto my video created in video factory 1.0 but there is no add track from cd and I need to learn how to do so but just don't know where to look, sorry I am a rookie and am learning as I go, and I am just getting used to video factory. If you could help that would be so awesome!!!

I've not used version 1.
Can you find it at - File - extract audio from CD?

There are a ton of free utilities out there that will rip from a CD, creating a .wav or other file format that can then be imported into Video Factory as a media asset and placed on a track.
