Please Help Me!

Hi, I am having the same exact problem someone else had back in December. Some kind people wrote in with some explanations and he/she was able to get it resolved. I hope I can get some helpful advice as well.

I used to use the programs on an older computer but recently installed them on our current computer (Vista system).
I am using Movie Studio 6.0 and DVD Architect 3.0.

I created a new project in Vegas Movie Studio and got to the part where I select make a movie. It does its thing and sends it to Architect Studio. Once there, and I choose to burn to a dvd I get the following message. "The selected folder is not vaild. It is either not possible to create the folder or you do not have write access."

I followed all the steps that were suggested by another person who posted on this forum. However, I must be missing a step.

If someone knows how to walk me through it with maybe some more detail I would be so grateful! I created a video projects folder in my C drive. I then opened Vegas Movie Studio. I saved the document to that C drive folder. Next I selected make a movie. I named and saved both the video and audio paths to the C drive and saved. This time the Movie Studio did not ask me if I wanted it to be sent to DVD Architect. I proceeded to open Architect and tried to open the saved folder on C drive. It indicates there is nothing there. Can anyone help me?

You must make sure that the folder you are preparing your DVD files to is empty. Have you done that?

Yes I have done that.

As long as you've got an empty folder for your prepared files and the drive you're editing and saving on is formatted NTFS (and not FAT32, as they come from the factory), I don't know why this would happen. Sorry.

It doesn't give me enough info. Thanks for trying.

Go to Options>Preferences>Burning. In the field for Temporary Files, choose a brand new folder.
