Hello no one seems to have any answers with my issue. I am using vegas pro 8. I completed one project before this one successfully. Now i am having a issue with my video clips when i put them on the timeline. They are automatically darkening. But they are perfect in the trimmer. Maybe i hit an accidental setting IDK?? Please if anyone can help me that would be great..thanks!
I really dont want ans shouldnt have to add a brighten effect on each clip , cause this is gonna be a 45min project with many clips and multiple video tracks!

Have you altered the "Level Slider" in the Track Header?

I had noticed the same thing......when I capture footage from my camera the software. It captures it darker than I shot it from LCD display from my camera...I have recently purchased a monitor to shoot with and this helps on big projects.....otherwise I always shoot a bit lighter that I would normally would if rolling into Vegas Pro 8

If your levels are fine in Trimmer, then it isn't your capture process.

If your Levels on the Tracks are pushed to the right, then I agree, this isn't track levels.

There has to be an FX that has gotten into the workflow that you aren't "seeing" - yet.

Do yourself and me a favour, click the FX bypass on the Preview window? Is there any difference?

Ah! Have you got the Master Bus working!!! I should've asked before . . .
