please help - video playback flashes/glitches

I am capturing video from a DV camera into Vegas but when I play that video back it flashes pink glitches on the screen every couple of seconds. The glitches do not appear when the tape is played through the camera onto a TV or when the same video is captured on my MAC using Final Cut Pro. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong with Vegas - if anyone can help I would appreciate it!

Hey, I'm new to Vegas, but that happened to me too. What I had was a pc, camers and external hard disk connected via fire wire. However, I had both the camera and the drive plugged into the pcmica card. I read somewhere that it likes it better with them daisy chained. So, I plugged caminto drive and drive into PC. Worked fine. try that. I'm new too though.
