Please help with 3D track Motion

I'm trying to add depth to a figure I'm dropping into my titles and spinning around. I've gotten to the point where the ojbect spins around 180 degrees on its Y axis, but right now its a flat object. I've tried playing with the "depth" under position, but that doesn't sem to do anything.
Is there a way to do this? Thanks for any help!

ps- If only the Faast DVD was out I'd probably be able to find the answer there.

In terms of what you are trying to do, you won't find the answer to this one on the FASST DVD, because Vegas doesn't extrude. If I understand what you are asking, you want the object to have depth. There are various ways to fake depth, but it will still be a flat object. You can add light movement to fake reflectivity, you can use shadow in various forms to fake the 'extrusion' but you won't be able to create the actual extrusion in Vegas. That's where Boris Red, Combustion, Cool 3D, etc all come in handy. Have you tried applying Spherize or other similar filter to fake an extrusion?

BTW, just got the word today that the fulfillment house is finally caught up warehousing, labelling, etc, so the FASST DVD should be shipping Tuesday-Wednesday of next week, so we're right on target for our May 26th shipping date.

Good news about the Faast.
Thanks for the help, I appreciate it. I tried the sherize but it looks very funcky. I tried copying the track and making the copy a little smaller, come in a little later, and varieties of that. Didn't work. The next thing to try will be drop shadows and things like that, but I'm not thinking that's going to work and I'm running out of time. Oh well, guess it's going to have to be flat.

You don't have to spend much money to get 3d titling or extrusion. Serif makes a product called Impactplus that does an excellent job and easy to use. It will output an AVI animation file and is only $79.00. I have a copy and am very pleased. I upgraded to Vegas 5, which came with Boris Graffiti 3d and I find Impactplus MUCH easier to learn and use. Check it out at www.serif.com.
