@Joe-is-Hungry-Channel You can still do fades with Event Headers turned on, except you need to position the mouse cursor almost on the audio track, and also just to the right of the Snap indicator for a fade-in.

I know this, it is just a pain, why would they take that away? It just seems like every improvement there is always some little thing they do that makes no sense.

Here is a screenshot of a totally minimized track which I was able to add a fade transition manually.

@3POINT thanks. I thought that was what he was referring to. But I don't see that here on my computer. Everything shows up including all the additional buttons when the track is minimized.

@Reyfox make sure event header is disabled, event header will still show take information when track is minimized.

This is in version 23 it is a known bug.

You still have event headers enabled. Disable event headers and than minimize track height.

I think file a support request if you want to get this to the developers (assuming it's not already been acknowledged).

@Joe-is-Hungry-Channel and @3POINT, now I "see" what you are referring to.

And this causes me to ask, if the Event Header is supposed to be Hidden from the Hamburger menu, why is it still present when it is "hidden" and clicking on the 3 dots shows it isn't? Also, why is Event Length although checked, not present? This is confusing for me. And if the Event Header and everything else that has been checked in the 3dots and still show up when the track is minimized, why not use that?

I'm trying to figure things out and am failing at the moment to understand.
