1. Take three media generators of your choice and place them on a single track one after the other.

2. Double click above the timeline to create a selection of the three generators.

3. Go to the tools menu and select "render to a new track"

I usually get a hard crash when I do this. I recently upgraded to Vegas 15 from 13 because of so much render crashing. For the most part my "Render As" crashes have stopped but "Render to a new track" still crashes most of the time for me on all projects. Trying to figure out if it's my system or Vegas.
