If you have an External Monitor going out thru' f/w would you please try following.
#1 - Insert an Event on timeline.
#2 - Open its Pan/crop property.
#3 - Check the MASK option and draw a mask - anything.
#4 - Now using the the Feather Option try anything.
What do you see on the External Monitor? I get nothing. I get nothing until I go to the Event's Opacity and reduce it. 98% does it. The Mask then pops up.
Stills are fine.
However . ..
What DOES make/bring this into play is when I place something UNDER the MASKING track. Then I can see the MASK effect.
So, maybe this isn't an invertebrate issue but a feature to ensure I need to place something UNDER it to get the Mask attributes to show. But yet again this is NOT needed on the Internal & 2nd Monitor Previews. I can create and design Masks without needing something on a lower track. AND I can get this to happen if I lower the Event's opacity
