The de-interlacing in Vegas has been very poor and causes us to look to a free plugin to implement Yadif x2

Just search for "yadif vegas" online and go to the yohng web site.

This produces much superior results to Vegas's built in de-interlacing.

But applying it requires disabling Vegas de-interlacing by project and every clip, and the de-interlacing

is Slow (Native built-in, possibly GPU accelerated (when that is fixed) would likely be noticably faster)

Also re-sizing of video, particularly interlaced footage with any movement produces unusable (wavy line) results.

Other software (like Adobe products) handle resizing without any problems.

Many of us will have to deal with older Interlaced footage for years to come, so please upgrade

those two components of Sony Vegas Pro.
