Plug In Presets could not be loaded error...

I had a system crash and had to recently install ALL of my software. Now when I run Vegas 4.0 I get the error shown in my subject line. I thought it was due to noe having the latest version of DirectX on my system. I downloaded and installed DirectX9.0c and I am still getting the error. What is the fix for this error????

I would try and reinstall Vegas 4 on top of itself. If it still does not work I would uninstall, delete any SoFo/Sony folders on the drive and then reinstall again. Sorry, lame answer I know. It's the first time I hear of this error.

I have one question for you: Do you know what's updated in 9.0c? The only information I've been able to find after roaming around on Microsofts sites is
"DirectX 9.0c improves the graphics, security, and performance of your operating system."

Not enough info for me.
