I've been using a Sony HDR-AX2000.
We recently added a new Sony NX-100.
Connecting the NX-100 to my Windows 8.1 computer thru its USB connection causes the computer to freeze up completely.
I have to reboot the computer to make it usable again.
Has anyone else experienced this??
FIXED THE PROBLEM by reinitializing the CAMERA & letting it reboot. Earlier, I had installed Catalyst Browse and let the NX100 connect to it. But Cata;yst Browse didn't offer any way to copy files from the camera to the computer. So I did a PC System Restore to the point before I had installed Catalyst Browse, and let the already-installed Sony "Play Memories Home" handle the cam-to-PC transfer, as I had already been doing with the HDR-AX2000. This setup seems to be working properly now, using Play Memories Home for both cameras.
