PluginPac Adapter causing Vegas crash constantly

I was searching the web for new VirtualDub filters (.vdf) and as usual put them in the VirtualDub plugins folder. Tried to use from Vegas, crash. Just starting up PluginPac Adapter it hangs causing an Exception error (see below) trying to load whatever the LAST VirtualDub filter happened to be in the folder.

Example If the last filter was called 'Unsharp.vdf' that's what hangs. If I remove this filter from the folder, shut down Vegas and try again, the next to last filter in this case 'tweaker.vdf' will crash and so on, one after the other all 40 filters I had in the folder, crash, crash, crash. LOL!

It did work before, not now. Curious. Using latest version of Vegas 4c. Nothing in the VirtualDub folder but .vdf files.

typical error message start reads:

Exception 0xE06D7363 (Unknown Type) IP:0x77E73887
In Module 'kernel32.dll' at Address 0x77E60000 + 0x13887

Did you find a workaround yet or fix your problem?

Actaully it got worse. Now everytime I try to use it I get two malfunctions.

1. a empty Loading Plugins... dialog box pops up

followed immediate by this Windows warning

2. This application has failed to start because imgproc.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

Windows is right I do NOT have this DLL on my system. Does anyone else, if so, where?

Looks like it is a scanner driver. I do not have this on my system and I have no problem at all with the frameserver so I guess it must be some kind of strange interaction? What happens if you do download that dll to your system32 dir? Or, reinstall your scanner driver or deinstall it if you no longer have it?

for the DriverGuide.com thing
