Plugs Location

Ok, so under program files/sony/shared plugs/audio, theres the sound fx packs.

Where the crap do I have to put new plugs.

I have a couple VST plugs that I installed that won't show in the list, so I copied the .dll's into the shared plugs & audio folders and the new plugs don't show.......

You put your VST plugs wherever you want. You need to explicitly tell your 'VST-Wrapper' DX plugin where your VSTs are.

VST plugs. CD Arch is a VST host no? Waves show there no prob.

I'm trying to recognize the Klahauser (Or whatever that is) audio plugs, and the SSL Comp VST plugs. They don't show.

CD Arch doesn't give you the option to navigate to locate a plug.....

DX plugings do not have to go into any special location. VSTs do. CDA does NOT do VST. Waves install both VST and DX (and RTAS) unless you deselect the particular check box.

You can use VSTs in a DX wrapper. Even then the VST location is a function of the wrapper, not CDA.
