Plz Help!!!

I have made a video on windows movie maker. I have used clips from one of my favorite shows I got from a bittorrent. I made the video in windows movie maker file format. I want to upload it on Sony Vegas Plat 8. I uploaded it and started to play the video but the video is skipping. It shows the video skipping in the preview box to. I made the movie anyways and it still skipped once it was done. I have no clue what I have to do plz help.

Your pc is ok. The wmv format is not made for editing, it's just that. Just like mp4 and mov, it is a 'delivery' format. If you bring it into Vegas, the compression logarithm will give Vegas a hard time. Even editing wmv in MovieMaker will give you issues. Don't see how you can solve this, except by starting from scratch.

Thanks for the help but im going to enter the video in a contest on youtube. It ends May 5 so i really cant start all over again.
