PMW-EX1 HQ on PS3

Hello
Has anyone devised a workflow to play native or smart rendered 1080i HQ footage from the PMW-EX1 on a PS3 using Vegas 8 or other programs?
if you have render settings compatible with smart rendering please advise what they are.
I realise the audio may well have to be rendered or at least re-multiplexed.
Thanks
Malcolm

Yes, of course. There are numerous posts on this.
.m2t is the format you want. Play it from disk, PS3 internal drive or media server.

Thank you
That was my assumption and as the video is actually MPEG2 it should be easy but how do you get it without complete re-rendering?
If you put the .mxf in Vegas and render to Main Concept MPEG2 it appears to always do a complete re-render (not smart).
There may be settings for the render that would avoid this but I have not found them.
Bob suggested that Smart Rendering only works for CBR MPEG so this would not work for HQ.
It seems to me that as the files are35Mb MPEG2 in a MP4 wrapper converted to MXF wrapper there may be some way of changing that to an M2T or MPG without rendering.
I can play the MXF's in WMP but I like to preview material on my PS3 with 1080 TV.
I have made high data rate files in both MPEG2 and AVC and they look good but they are renders.
