PNG Photo Size Help?

I understand that png files are best for VMS, what resolution or size should I convert them too? I,m creating some slide shows with jpegs.

Set them to no more than twice the project resolution.

You should either:

a) resize them so that the area of the smallest portion you will zoom in on is equal to or slightly larger than the project frame.

b) don't worry about it.

I tend to choose option b most of the time and it all works out nicely.
