poor quality

I have good quality video onthye camcorder, when i edit on computer and burn CD, the picture jumps and the quality sucks. Any ideas.

What file format are you saving to for your CD?

Also, is your camcorder digital or analogue? Are you importing it into the computer as AVI?

When you watch the AVI on your computer using Windows Media Player, is the quality there?
