Pops & Clicks

I'm having a blast with Vegas; However once I installed
the second beta I now get clicking and popping sounds on
things that I record in Vegas. I've installed the 3rd beta
version and it's still there. I tried recording something
in cooledit and soundforge and it sounds fine. Maybe I
have something configured wrong, my system is PIII 450 with
256megs ram, 8gig IBM ide harddrive and Ati all-in wonder
agp card sblive and gadget labs 824. Any help would be
great.
Thanks
Eric

There seems to be problems with the Gaget Labs drivers. They expect that the
audio record buffers are of a specific size or multiple of that size. If the
record buffer is not following thier requirements, then gapping in record can
occur. This is a driver bug as they are not allowed to require such a buffer
size restriction on an application.

We are in communication with them on this. As soon as a fix or work around is
available we will post it here.

Thanks
Peter
