how come all the videos i shot in landscape mode whenever i import it on sony vegas 16 its in portrait mode but when i preview it on svp15 its in landscape.... help!
Videos shot with a cell phone? If you right click on the files and open the file properties, you can control rotation in there. That might help you until we can figure out what the cause is.
Definitely a bug. An easy workaround would be to go into your project settings in VP16, and set the "output rotation" to 90 degrees counterclockwise. The only flaw to this workaround is you'll have to unflip any other media you add to the timeline that isn't affected by the glitch, which can be done by right clicking on it and selecting properties. There will be an option to rotate in there. Make sure you have the latest version of VP16 as well, it looks like you are using the release day version.
