If this initial post were on a msg board populated by those with a lot more know how and way less ego (for example ProRec.com or the like), you wouldn't see 20 some odd replies saying the same egotisitcal bullsh*t, but rather only a few. This is a tired game of trying to look cool, don't think for a minute those with experience don't see it only as this.

There's plenty of good help on these boards (including you) and there's plenty of petty fighting (including you). Don't pontificate about the purity of advice when yours is laced with vindictives from time to time.

Its a community (online and not in the traditional sense certainly) and the community is full of all sorts. Stusy has a history here as do you (and I too) and in the end we all just want to make some music as best we can with the sh*t we've got.

ProRec is where people go to learn and\or better their recording techniques and more. This place is strictly for SF apps.
