It sounds good for billboards in outdoor/direct sunlight applications like the article says, but I wonder what kind of response rate one would get and how long the life would be? Interesting none-the-less. Cost?
We have a few of those bright electronic "full" color billboards in my community.
They have stirred a few newspaper discussions concerning being distracting to
drivers.
They are bright but the color does not have a full range perhaps on the way the images
are delivered to the billboard system but I would not even want to watch a movie on one
like the good ol' days of drive in theaters.
