post edit ripple ouch

Post edit ripple has always worked for me 99% of the time , in 7 I am working on our first "real" edit,, ouch got bit, stuff moving farther than it should,, I dont know , this thing may be me but when i delete a clip and select ,all tracks markers and regions, i expect everything to move relative to the deleted item,, it does most times , but......not all the time, just as all other versions of vegas,, either me or a bug that will bite big if not careful

I have noticed this recently too. Events on other tracks moving further than they should. Has the ripple edit behaviour changed in Vegas 7?

I recall to have seen this too a couple of times now that it is mentioned.

I could probably write a book about this!
OK, I could accept it screwing up things post the edit point, it is after all 'post edit ripple' however when it screws up things pre edit point, now that must have taken some careful coding.
Best example from memory, markers prior to the edit point might get moved, I say might because the algorithm used to determine this seems derived from some branch of Bistro Mathematics. Whatever it is it takes a firm knowledge of Chaos Theory to untangle the Strings.
