Powerpoint Plaing MGEG Movies

After loading the MPEG plug-in from your site, was not able to "play" (could insert) any type MGEG movie file in PowerPoint. Tried the solution as noted on item #1442 -- to no avail. I can insert/play all avi and mov files, but not MPEG in Powerpoint 2000. Any suggestions?

Running Windows 2000 on a Compaq E-500 laptop. Have Vegas Video loaded as well.

MPEG1 should work in Powerpoint, no problem. MPEG2 will not work unless the Powerpoint playback machine has an MPEG2 decoder (Windows/MP does not have MPEG2 playback by default, license fee issue)
