Prepping files on PC for MAC question

Just having rendered lots of WAV files for a project I have - I was informed that they want AIFF files
Can I just do a resave to AIF from the WAV or will sonic quality deteriorate from not re-rendering to AIF from the original project file....(48k x 16 bit - no resampling necessary - just convert one file format to the other)
Also, having had mixed success in the past butning a CD-Rom on PC intended for MAC I was wondering what the rock solid settings are in something like Nero to get this right for the MAC
My recollection is that I need an ISsO-9660 and their is an 8 character limitaton in file saving - or is that one just history... and anything else ?

Greatly appreciated

There's really no need to burn a special disc for a Mac since Mac's can read and write ISO PC discs. (but not the other way around, which sucks)
Most Mac based A/V programs these days like FCP and Avid can open and save wave files. That said, saving wave file as an Aiff should cause negligible deterioration.
The 8 character limitaton is no longer a factor with the the latter Mac OS versions.

Sounds easy enough - many thanks for that

You will lose or alter no data converting from wav to aiff. It's only a file format change,
