Prerendering to a file

Why does CDA do this when I burn discs? Is it necessary, and if not, how do I turn it off?

How about the tick box "Pre-render to file" in the burn dialgue .

The option is there so that burns can be done with bunches of plugins that wmay otherwise cause the burn to fail with lack of PC-power.
