i need few answer about Vegas pro 19 or up , im making a project advertising presentation on TV 4k 65" format vertical 9 x 16 2160 x 3840 , can i do it with Vegas Pro ? , H265 is supported in vegas?
I never knew it works, however, the quality coming from HEVC render is very bad. I change the bitrate to higher value and change the encode mode to best quality, my VEGAS Pro stuck & crash.
I notice it switches to MainConcept whenever the frame height is set to greater than 2160.
So, IMO the render coming from vegas for 4K in 9x16 is unusable for client work.
@john_dennis Voukoder able to export 4K in 9x19 using the H264 template if Im not wrong. However, there is also known bug in Voukoder causing the audio to drift few m/s when rendering. Its noticeable IMO.
I analyzed the audio issue and determined that the actual output file is OK. When the the file is placed back on the Vegas timeline, the offset of the audio varies with the Vegas decoder used.
How have you managed to get this work???! Like @alifftudm95 said, I cannot get the height to go beyond 2304. Anything I put in height field, gets automatically reduced to 2304.

It is possible in Vegas 19 and above

@crazyapple In my pictures you've quoted (Former User) that is done with the HEVC render, I guess they've upgraded this because it can now be done with AVC, I've used AVC Portrait without thinking about it a few times 😂 I use Voukoder more often.
I did find an interesting reddit post about a potential workaround that I'm going to try on my Vegas version, it looks promising.

@crazyapple Just opened 18, don't know what to add, I don't remember if it could or couldn't do this, but it just rendered 9:16 3640x2160 no problem, I even had a preset already in the list

Yes mate, I can confirm I could do it with VP18. Bit of a workaround, but that reddit post I mentioned earlier helped :)
