Preserving auto crossfades when copying clips

Hi,

I have a good sequence on a single tracks with good auto-crossfades in the right points. I'd like to move certain clips to another track while preserving the crossfades. I found that copying (using CTRL+mouse move) a clip on a video track above the original one, MS did that (and then I could delete the original after the copy and also preserve the crossfades on the adjacent clips on the original track), but now it doesn't do anymore - i.e. when I copy a clip on the video track above, it has no crossfades and deleting the original one removes the crossfades from the adjacent clips in the original track.

Any idea if there's a setting for that, which I may have inadvertently turned off? Or specific key+mouse combination? Boring to re-draw the crossfades by hand.

Hm nobody? I found the behavior a little random. When copying with ctrl+mouse, sometimes the crossfades are carried over, sometimes not. Haven't yet figured out what's the reason :)
