I'm using the latest version and build of PM: ver.2.0 build 17 - and I can only get Audio Presets I've created showing in the Panes . . .. However none of my Video Presets. Why? - Oh yes, I DO have plenty of Video FXs I've created - These are subsets of Text and CK work . .
Yes. Otherwise, you just save as a veg file and transfer that to new machine. The sfv files only show up with chains. It's a minor inconvenience, but one that is easy to work around.
"Yes. Otherwise, you just save as a veg file and transfer that to new machine." . . yes I know this . . But I do have a thing Called PM . . AND I can show Audio and its complex bits and pieces . . there is a logic that has evaded me. Workarounds fine . . we do these! As long as I know AND now I know something else too.
PM is great for storing away a;; those hard won Presets and Experiments. Should my MONSTA! go South . .again . . at least I would have these to fall back on.
Presently the Preset Manager blythly says that it will "recognise" Presets . . well folks I guess what I read aint so . .yes or no?
My feeling is that PM is still in Audio land and needs to recognise with ease Video stuff. So we're talking "Grazie-Proof" here.
The Preset manager was designed for Sound Forge users, not Vegas users. That's why it's on the Sound Forge page.
But it DOES recognize Vegas chains, hence the "side" benefit. You're using a product designed for one purpose that has a side benefit of working for another. I guess I shouldn'ta said anything a while back, just thought it was useful.
Ah c'mon Spot ? . . no problem . . . Sometimes, just sometimes, when I get into a logic-twister I need YOU to really realign stuff for me - so you speaking up assisted me - THANK YOU ! Your BOOK is amazing . . Locking Events! Wow that's blown me away now! . . .
. . . AND you got to go to Hawaii AND BBQ with randy on a Beach . . huh, my obssession with Veags is not on anybody's RADAR . .well it shouldn't be!
