Presets

I downloaded some video fx presets from Vasst, and trying to figure out to get them into Vegas. I have used Preset Manager and got them into "view/plugins manager", but want to be able to get them into the video effects pane where you click on the presets, like where you pick "radial blur, and the others. Is there a way that I can do this?

...but want to be able to get them into the video effects pane...

They won't show up there. You need to click on one of the VideoFX icons and then click Filter packages to see the presets.
Click on the one you want and it'll show up in the VideoFX window.

Don't understand what you mean "click on fx icon, and then click filter packages, and click on one that you want and it'll show up in fx window. Unless I open up the "view/plug-in manager, and drag one onto the timeline, then I can't see them. They won't show up in fx pane, no matter what. I am trying this on my V6 right now, till I know that it work, then I will do it on my V8. Does this make a difference?

Okay, I get what you are talking about. Do you know of any great presets, for download? Or direct me to some sites. I have the JMH one, could use some good for weddings etc.

I noticed that there is a 2009 version, but you will need a RAR extracting program. Here is the site to download free:

They're customized filter packages that various users created.
I got most of mine from the VASST site.
Enter jmh as the search term and you should find at least a few of them.
