Presets

I created a preset for a pan and zoom effect and saved it. This was for a still. When I placed another still on the video track and selected the preset, nothing happened-the still remained still. Am I missing something?

After getting everything the way I wanted. In Pan?crop screen, I entered a name for the preset and then clicked the save disk icon. The preset was saved but putting it into another picture, nothing happened.
