Helli, i had the same issues with my new RTX306

Ryzen z

32gug ram

ssd

and my plaback is very laggy after 10 seconds. works fine for 1o seconds then i get like 1fps

i have now also the vegas 19 test version but it wasnt any better as with vegas 17 pro.

i hope i can manage to work with the rtx 3060 card. but i assume vegas 17 will not support it properly -.-

Hello,

One thing I hadn't seen that solved the rest of my preview problem, is its mode.
I was in "good" instead of "preview".
I had not seen that the mode had changed.
Since I switched to "preview" I no longer have the problem, even 4K is fluid with my 1070Ti.
Afterwards, I put the "studio" driver from nVidia instead of the game ready, but I don't know if that matters.

so i had some days of testing now. Setting vegas back to default settings has helped me. playback in 25fps in preview automatic. i think i did something wrong in preferences. Rendering is okay now i need for a two minute 4k mow 10 bit projekt 4 minutes to render it in HEVC UHD with Nvsinc.

my Old card was still a bit better i think. odd

yeah, i will try today the same project in vegas 19 trial version to see if it is any better. Maybe it cant be any faster then this but then is the extra 500€ for a new gpu not worth the money. It runs at maybe 30% - 40% .

Has anyone talked about playback issues with GoPro?

There's simple advice I can do after every Vegas installation. In the program files in the Vegas folder, delete the blacklist file, which disables Gpu support for gopro and others.

Pierre, do you find the GoPro files work without issue with the GPU now?

The Blacklist ensemble was formed in Vegas 15. During that time, Gopro is still on the blacklist.

I have no problem with that. It is possible that it works differently with my gtx970 than with any other card. It needs to be tried. If problems occur, return the blacklist.

I would like the gpu support for Dji gopro and others to be considered eperimental and the user could choose for himself whether he wants to activate it or not. Same as mkv.

It is a pity to disable this option even if it works for someone without a problem.

No?

Thank you for the tip, I have to order a new GoPro in the next few days (probably the Hero 10 provided that the current offer is still valid).
